i have some aubretia cascade that are just coming through from seed sown 9 days ago. i would like to line the front edge of the wall with these, so that it tumbles over it. behind that - essentially a herbaceous perennial area. its excellent soil to work with. drains well, loamy. id like to get lavender in there for sure, salvias aswell. i also have 3x viburnum tinus in pots, that will soon be big enough to plant - at the back fence for those perhaps, if they arent going to be used in another area. failing that i love verbena bonariensis and maybe some stipa or some other grass towards the back.
