MYSTERY FLOWER
in Talkback
I visited a National Trust property last year and saw this plant which I thought was really nice and wanted to buy it. No-one knew what it was called and I have been trying to find it ever since. I have seen a similar plant in the garden centre recently but although it is very similar, I don't think it is the same as the leaves are very different. Please help if you can.

It's one of the achillea's I think, which one though I'm not sure. Someone else will have an idea though. Millefolium maybe.
I assume this is not flowering now Sue.
I think that's Tansy, Tanacetum vulgare

I like how it looks like yellow Pom poms
I saw the plant and took a photo on the 9 August 2013. It was extremely tall and bushy and the ladies at the National Trust were using it for the flower arrangements.
I like it. It's not doing well as a meadow inhabitant on my soil but it keeps it in check

Would it need full sun?

This suggests it does but it's a tough one and will probably cope with what you give it except complete shade and a bog
