Snowing here in the NW for most of the day, very heavy and sticking. Was in Blackburn at the end of the day and in just over half an hour 3inches had fallen, had trouble getting out of a side road and the main roads were just a mass of slush.
Looks like I'll be using the salt on paths after all.
Stockton on Tees has another six inches of snow. Azure blue sky in all directions brilliant sunshine blinding me, contrails in the sky above as the planes fly their mysterious ways across Continents. One tiny blot on my horizon, "I missed Carol last night" I was watching John Wilson and his Prom's Orchestra playing music from the movies for the third time but loved it and forgot about Carol, "oh dear" I will wait for the repeat, usually not long these days?

Still no snow & temp about 4c today with fine rain this afternoon.
Very slow thaw again today. Snow forecast and have had a couple of insignificant flurries. Therre is still very little green visible
