Teesside, a bit of everything, sunshine cloud the odd spit of rain and to think in March I got brown as a chocolate bar in the sunshine for a week! image
The Toms are still in their 3 inch pots but standing up like guardsmen, the herbs are growing rapidly out of their pots, if the sweet peas do not go into final position soon they will flower in their pots, suddenly it is becoming a need to get things moving.

Overcast with showers a brief dry spells in North Yorks. Some planting out needs to be done, but it's too soggy to step on the lawn yet.

After tonight/tomorrow's deluge the local weather forecast for Monday is 19C and dry-who do I write to if that does not happen?

Still cold; intermittent rain; wind getting stronger.  OMG - it feels like it's brewing up.  Probably won't get much sleep tonight if it really does chuck it down.  Have to make sure the leat at the end of the garden is kept clear, too, or we'll be flooded.

We actually had braised steak and onions for dinner tonight - a real winter favourite.  And I was looking forward to lighter spring and summer menus.image
