The sun just arrived on Teesside after a very cloudy morning, very cool in my bed Insomnia, I slept like a log.
Our weather became cloudy as I cooked the Sunday lunch for Tuesday evening, the grandchildren did not accept it was too hot for that and stuffed themselves.
I think "Rain" to'ther side oer Styx got the best of it later in the day, the Cleveland Hills were bathed in a warm glow when I looked over the valley.

Like coloured beads on a string - another lovely summer's day.  27 C in the shade!  Can it last?

Wow Geoff. I might move in next door when your neighbours sell.

Scorching here. I've cut the grass this morning. The dog has found a cooler spot under the kiwi bush. The kiwi is covered in flowers every year and was supposed to be self-fertile but never has fruit. I don't know whether it is a boy or a girl other wise I would get it a friend

Well. thats the end of that then - we have rain - lots of it. Glad in a way. had a shifty around in the garden so I suppose it'll help settle everything in. Haven't seen much sun though - just cloud and humidity unlike SOME I could mention !!!!

Jean -one of my 40p pitcher plants had shrivelled up and the roots are brown -the other 2 still seem ok though-I think that might be my punishmentimage

Oh no ! What a shame - at least you've got the other two. Mine seem ok up to now - do you mist them with rainwater ? Look what mine caught for lunch -
