Awoke this morning thinking I had slept in it was very light, opened the blinds to find a covering of snow. Stockton snow low mist and cold cannot see the woods a field away, cars struggling to get out as we are the very last to get any grit. "Oh well" we will call it winter then. On the up side winter leads to SPRING so I can sit planning what I start to do Straight after the new year which comes after Alpha Omega and Sigma, all presents bought will be wrapped today when Daughter arrives first though granddaughters birthday, who says the 13th is unlucky, I certainly do not.
Sunshine & sharp showers with a stiff breeze here today. Lot of rain against the back windows last night, East facing, which isnt the usual direction. Jo4.
Came back from a few days in Morecambe yesterday, ooh it was cold up there. Looking across Morecambe bay there was snow on the hills. Yes I'm from Dorset and yes I'm a southern softie but I don't care. Its been raining today here in Bournemouth but at least it is warmer than Morecambe.
Stockton on Tees today is a white out, the frost has settled on the snow which did not get away yesterday and is reflecting the bright sunlight back as I look out of the window. The sky is blue a little cloud and the Cleveland Hills looking lovely bathed in sunlight though it is bitter cold out there. The greenhouse south facing with a wall at the back is still warm, it does pay dividends having a lean to, it gives a head start with plants.
Palaisglide, we went to Morecambe for a friends retirement party so we didn't go for the seaside, went into Blackpool too as my step daughter lives there. Anythime of the year, it is still a beautiful part of the country. The sun has been out today in Bournemouth quite cold but at least it is dry.

Today started off very cold, severe frost last night, progressed to some sun, then rain showers. So all in all a mixed bag.
