The weather here (S France) has been the usual April showers/storms for a few weeks now but much colder than usual for this time of year. There is more snow on the mountains now than there has been all winter! It was better today, though - no rain, at least!
Grim through most of the day here on the southern edge of Dartmoor. Potted on some courgettes in the greenhouse, found some tent pegs to anchor down netting for mangetouts and sweet peas which went out into the garden on Monday.
Sieved a load of potting compost in preparation for more potting on tomorrow.
I put my pepper seeds in to warm compost in a small propogator and put the clear plastic lid on making sure the vents were closed and stood it on top of the double radiator in the kitchen,they were up in a week,planted them into large seed tray,now have 12 little pepper seedlings
We had snow only a couple of weeks ago, powow, on the other side of the county, really odd weather for this time of year.
Looked like it was going to get out nice this morning but has been dull and wet in this part of Lancashire. Peas are going out at the weekend regardless of the forcast, if left any longer they are likely to go to the garden in the sky so nothing to lose.

Dull, grey day with a few showers. Not very warm but no sign yet of any snow. {Thank goodness}
