  • There used to be two sorts of cauliflower - the summer cauliflower which is a cauliflower, and the winter cauliflower which was more of a broccoli in it's breeding.

    Things have changed and although we still have summer and winter varieties, the winter ones now look more like a cauliflower than they used to ......... if that makes sense image

  • Many thanks  Dovefromabove  for your interest ref cauliflower ( I'm questing  you could be near same age as myself) but does any one out there know if these seeds  are still available  Please someone say yes  Today I and others went to a market in Hugarder (Egypt) &found  some the same but couldn't bring one home  the stall holder was only selling not growing so no chance of any seed or name of but will See! how I get on with the potatoes ! ! 

  • I'm 20 years younger than you CJWP, but I started gardening with my granny's old gardening book so have lots of out of date information clogging my brain up image
