A reply to Bob the Gardener I dont have starlings and to let you know there is a decline in them I love them as all birds and nature but ive no starlings strange

I think I may have all the starlings, I have lots of them coming into the garden. The Blackbirds always seem to be very greedy,  but they all have to fight so hard to survive.

One of my moorhen is struggling, I think it won't survive. It may have a broken leg. It sits under the bird feeders and I make sure I give it plenty of food but it's only a matter of time before the fox/cat/ raptor turns up.

Getting through about 1.5 litres of bird seed a day now - the two 25kg sacks (mixed &  sunflower hearts) I bought a few weeks ago are now half empty!   Making new baby birdies is obviously using a lot of energy!  image

Sunflower seed and nyger consumption has remained much the same but Pnut and fatballs are much more popular. Multiplication, that's the name of the gameimage
