Where have the birds gone!!!

    Made me laugh too nut. Birds don't have the means to clean up their mess, but we do - yet still some of us don't bother...image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    oh i love my birds they are well looked after i have robins tits blackbirds etc now ive noticed that some like to eat from the ground some do i have them nesting in my hedges and thick ivy and trees its beautiful to hear our resident blackbird sing at crack of dawn now he likes abit of bread too we have plenty feeders fat balls coconut bird seed and bird bath oh an we have two doves its lovely cant wait for weather  warm up oh and birds adore mealworms

    Victoria, which birds are eating the mealworms? I gave up feeding mealworms to the birds last year as none of them were interested.

    I don't know which birds in Victoria's garden eat them artjack, but here it's robins and starlings (who go crazy for them!)

    Robins here too. Mr and Mrs were both tucking in recently. I've got mealworms in with the seed mix I put out.

    Edd - that robin of yours will need to go on a  diet! image

    Hello all Im just letting Artjack know about mealworms and aplogise for getting back late we have had a lovely addition to our Blackbirds its baby chick oh my the sound was lovely but Gobby our Blackbird wont let any birds near it he even squares up the Jackdaws and Magpies well going back to mealworms the tits are eating them and the robins also the Jackdaws and Magpies eat the lot I have lots of different Bird seed and suet and ive noticed the robins like to eat from the ground but as people have mentioned they are pairing up to breed Ive even got baby tits its just so beautiful
