I love that she's not like most other artists I.e. Stripping and swearing, she plain and has self respect Although last year I only paid £28 for a ticket and this year it's £38!
I hardly know any of these songs you guys are mentioning! Is it because they're old or something
it wasn't that tour ol, it was a while ago when i was still glamorous and not permanently covered in baby sick, anyway it's all i have to show off about!!!
Ryan, youtube the oldies you never know what gems you might find, I'm going to look up every song mentioned on here that I don't know, It's great when I find a new (to me) track I love. My Dad used to play opera on the radio all the time when I was a kid and I absolutely hated it, but there are some opera songs that I adore now.I meet so many people who just like one genre of music I've noticed people on this forum seem to have quite eclectic taste in music, I wonder if that is standard for gardeners?
I think I will have to broaden my music tastes quite a bit really! Although I don't think ill ever be able to stand classical! Maybe opera, I like quite a lot of songs from shows like Sound of Music, Hairspray and Mama Mia!
I have to say Lily, I like nearly every song you've mentioned, you have reminded me of some I haven't listened to in ages - John Lennon, Woman - Mike and the Mechanics, In the Living Years. New ones on me Regina Spektor, Samson - Emma Stevens, Graham Parker, You can't be too Strong - Dreaming Trees - The Byrds, My Back Pages - Nick Drake, Hazey Jane. Thanks everyone
LOL Ryan re the oldie comment, a lot of the songs. I like I am actually too young to remember I used to play all my mum's old records and I do have quite diverse tastes
Louise, I know it wasn't that one but still jealous, you met Joe Elliott too didn't you? Now that I am jealous of, he is sooooo lovely (for an oldie )
