Hollie hock been building shed bit more today cladding the back outside wall still sides and front to clad yet so lots of pallet planks also the inside, going to be painting the outside of shed that grey colour so glad you like
Hollie hock walls up, no roof just a clear tarpaulin on roof for now, just looks like a black shed as covered up pallets with black plastic membrane to waterproof it
So still lots to do to make the shed a shed, do have a bit of a porch, so once the outside is cladded will paint it - then will put up inside plank for walls going to be nice thick walls as pallet thick
The roof will be clear corrugated PVC which I will have to get yet
Went past a house near by with a skip in the front garden the lady next door saw us and said it was fine to look in the skip as the whole house is getting gutted out - so managed to get some goodies off cuts of insluation board with silvers bits on - (celotex)
So now have a bit more than pallet blocks to insulate my shed - so hope I have enough board and pallet blocks to fill all the inside walls then it will be even better
Meanwhile, we have only ever used pallets for building compost heaps and a 5 storey insect hotel with a roof garden. In this new garden, I shall use them for some storing chipped wood prunings while they dry out and, assuming I can find some more, probably make another insect hotel.
