Just a few from this afternoon...

    image

The new Clematis has sprung back into life after a shaky start and is covered in buds and growth -

    image

Sweet peas are finally flowering (I told you I'm  a month behind)

    image

The little walled area at the front is filling out (finally)

    image

We have fruit on what looks like a rather poorly fruit tree - What fruit is another question - I'm guessing they are apples?

And the veg plots are starting to look like they are alive.. Just need to build 3 more pairs! ps Im fed up now with having Rocket at every meal lol

Lily, plant is a Senetti. My SIL bought it for me and Ma and Pa told me I have to deadhead it. I've never been good at that and thought I had killed it. Then I noticed the  flowers coming again so I chopped various bits off and now I'm hoping it will come back. Fingers crossed my SIL doesn't round for a visit this summer!

Ighten, what is your clematis? It looks like the one I have that appeared instead of the fuschias I planted, pic below:

No idea Lily. Don't even know where it came from - I didn't plant it and there was nothing there for it to climb up before I bought the house, and it certainly wasn't there last summer! Odd image

Chicky, your carnations and campanula look like a bridal bouquet to me - just gorgeous!  Ighten - stunning sweet pea colours (we don't mention sweet peas round here!)  Rosemummy, your signature geranium reminds me of the one at Barnsdale last Friday!  Lovely contrast of different shades of pink though.  Most noticeable thing here at the moment is a cacophony of colours that fight so hard against each other it almost works......

    image

And meanwhile, in another bed, a collection of pale pinks so faded as to almost cancel themselves out (these are all going somewhere else next year - or if they don't, then that silly potentilla certainly will - worst colour clash imaginable - acid yellow and baby pink - bleurrrghhh)
