Lily - its a phlox - think its bight eyes. They do well for me here, so are the bedrock of my midsummer garden - good job they come in lots of colours
Thank you chicky.
Thanks everyone for the kind words on my raised planter.
Managed to pick up some grasses that were 1/2 price in the local garden centre.
sorry the photos are on the side (stoopid IPad)
dont know where to place these yet as I want to use them as a separator in the garden.
also decided on a colour to paint the raised planter.
Also the tall grass looking things I had given last year off the In laws have flowered today... And I haven't got a clue what they are !
Hope everyone one has a great Sunday
Loving this thread - had a great time looking through all the photos. Thanks for posting
Beautiful garden Chicky just my type of planting.
Shaun, my iPad tip re portrait tips would be to rotate the photo when it's in the photo album, till it's back to it's original way up, saving it as you go round. They will then load up on here correctly
Gardens are looking great everyone
Beautiful pics guys - love the phlox and echinacea together Chicky and really like your pic with the blue, silver and orange crocosmia Shaun
The Sponge garden is getting into gear - here are my current faves:
Lythrum dropmore purple. Turns a lovely colour after flowering.
Penstemon Patch
Real Broadway (I think)
Hot chocolate rose
My favourite fence basket
The forest floor
Hope I don't run out of flowers - everything seems to be flowering much earlier than last year which was my first full gardening year.
Wow Victoria, those are beautiful pics, you've done a great job Love the fence basket
Thanks OL
