    Lily - its a phlox - think its bight eyes.  They do well for me here, so are the bedrock of my midsummer garden - good job they come in lots of coloursimage

  • Thanks everyone for the kind words on my raised planter. 

    Managed to pick up some grasses that were 1/2 price in the local garden centre.

    sorry the photos are on the side (stoopid IPad)

    dont know where to place these yet as I want to use them as a separator in the garden.

    also decided on a colour to paint the raised planter.

    Also the tall grass looking things I had given last year off the In laws have flowered today... And I haven't got a clue what they are !

    Shaun, my iPad tip re portrait tips would be to rotate the photo when it's in the photo album, till it's back to it's original way up, saving it as you go round. They will then load up on here correctly image

    The Sponge garden is getting into gear - here are my current faves:
