I've been on a training day at work but found time to ring the delivery service, the gardening order hadn't yet been dispatched back to the company so I've asked them to keep it before first asking if I'd be charged for storageimage then told them the company had been contacted and I was waiting for a reply...not received an e-mail yet.

...and it's rained most of the day...I've had better days...

I'm sorry to read that your day has not been so great Zoomer...it happens to all of us... mine has been not too bad as I didn't get up until nearly mid day....insomniac don't go to bed until 3 am....  can't garden...dark before I get out...

did buy some hort. grit and decorative chippings... and made a gorgeous dinner for two...dog ate most of it...

Lovely sunny day here in the Fens, daffs are about 10cm above ground.

...also finished the online training at work and passed...image

    thanks artjak.

Hasn't stopped raining but my parcel arrived.

Completed a form for an allotment and am number 7 on the list.  Not going to hold my breath though, it could still take a couple of years to get to the top. Apparently you start with half a plot, which is approx 150 yards...sounded like good news...as  Zoomer tries to work out how big that is in feet and inches image

  • Good luck with the allotment Zoomer44. I thought I had to wait yrs and so didn't see the point in applying until last yr. Guess what? Phoned up- went to see it the next day and choose a half a plot got the keys there and then.
