  • A friend who knows such things says that snowdrops were planted by monks for medicinal purposes as snowdrop oil was a headache remedy - but is also nowadays known to help Alzheimers sufferers.

Which part has the oil to help Alzeimer's disease. Dove. This could be useful. Does it help other forms of dementia?

  • Friend pointed me to this website http://www.welfordpark.co.uk/history.html

Google has led me to this http://en.heilkraeuter.net/herbs/snowdrop.htm - not sure what the GP and Carers would think if I tried to feed Ma some snowdrop bulbs image

    See you all there tomorrowimage

  • I've just sorted out all my seeds, I've got lots that I don't need. I'll bring them along tomorrow and you can all fight over them! Mostly free veg ones from last year's magazines, plus a few that are slightly out of date - I'm not doing veg this year, apart from potatoes.
