    Yes, I agree on the iris. There were some at Ashwood, but I bought a small pot of a dark blue one instead.

    image chicky, I should have bought the plant list, it was only 80p. There was several different cultivars including some of those orangey brown ones which I like a lot.

    Sounds & looks like a great outing.

    Landgirl that Iris looks more like a tropical fish, I'm also unsure if I like it.

    When I first saw a pic of that iris, Katherine Hodgekins (spelling?) I thought it looked lovely. When I saw the reality, a squatty little thing about 3 inches tall, I changed my mind
