As we know, we all love cake
although some of our cake wasn't as nice as others, I did save you all some
Chicky - the big drifts were mainly of less posh types but there were clumps of the posh ones scattered amongst them - then in the more organised shrubby walk there were biggish areas of named varieties.
There was even a variety with a sort of seersucker effect on the petals - a bit like my tablecloth but without the blue checks!

LOL Dove, to be fair and in their defence, it was a lovely day and I had jobs to do, I think those of us that had decent weather just wanted to make the most of it.
Maybe we could organise a flower walk of some sort further North for any Northerners amongst us (I don't think there are many??)
