Well I now am the proud owner of a Bosh AHM 38G push mower.  It looks great! Really well made and has great reviews too so I'm chuffed!  I've just got to rake out the dead moss from my treatment last weekend and I'll be good to go!

Hopefully the actual cut will live up to the looks!

Look forward to hearing your review Jan. I was checking out push lawn mowers for paths on the allotment but went for a petrol trimmer instead as it doubles up to keep weeds down round the plotimage.

  • Can anyone help

i have my dad's old hand push ransoms 12 Mark 5 lawn mower but it is so stiff to push

what can I do to operate more easily?

    thanks

    Simon

I bought a Fiskars reel mower last week. It seems top notch.

  • I recommend Fiskar 6021 mower, because this product can work well with many types of grass, have a durable time, and cut the grass easily and effectively. it’s truly useful when using for the long term.

That's the one I have. It cuts very well but it is very heavy, and much harder to push than my Bosch rotak. The weight could be an issue for some. I find it better than my Bosch, I can cut the lawn in half the time.

How heavy are they? I grew up on vintage lawn mowers with my dad and they where very heavy (now they're museum pieces) parents are old and not very well and looking for new mower as petrol one has died. Would a push one be too heavy for them?
