Buy some potassium manganate iin local chemist or on net mix it in a watering can and pour on without using the rose.Within minuets worm will come to surface Preferably in morning
The problem is caused by too much goodness in the soil. When I moved in to my present house 3 years ago I had NO worm casts. I have since done some renovation and levelling of the grass by lifting the turf and putting new soil underneath. Hey presto, worm casts. I think we have to accept that if we want a lush lawn then worms are going to be a problem. Having said that I am trying cast clear and it is having an effect but with a stronger dose than recommended.

If you don't want worms in your lawn eat them, stir fry 20 seconds with chilli sauce, no need to wash them
