What to do with broken fence panels?
Following the storm on Monday I have 3 poorly fence panels that I have replaced. The question is, what would you do with the wood from the panels? They were 4foot by 6, and the slats (4foot long) have all come away from the top and bottom. I hope this description makes sense

Panda,
what you CANNOT do is pass on the slats to a community bonfire, assuming the slats have been treated, because they are not allowed to burn wood with chemicals.
At least, that's what I was told when trying to get rid of a pile of fence wood a few weeks ago, so it went to a recycling centre for burning under controlled conditions (to generate power I believe).
I hope this helps, even if only a little.
Bonfire night is coming up.

Thanks Peter, and fidget. They were painted by the previous home owner so I guess I had better be careful re burning
4th Panda I'll have them for my H, it will keep him out of mischief making something
Bet you get all sorts of ideas posted.
I thought that was what panda meant!
Could you make a compost box?
Make a hedgehog house out of them!
What about a veg box
