Another fab shot David.  All these snowy pictures are making me feel cold.

Thanks, Forester...only a scattering of snow, as you can see, but it transforms the silver birch trees.

Kef....most of mine are all point and shoot.  I have a little Canon IXUS which is about 5 years old and it takes some fantastic pics.  It has loads of settings on which I play around with but don't really know what I am doing with it!

Here's another snowy one, just to remind us of what the last couple of winters have been like!

Forester it was April 2010 in Llandudno.

  • Nikki - You say "have a little Canon IXUS which is about 5 years old and it takes some fantastic pics."

The quality of the shots is reliant on the quality of the sensor as much as anything and this little compact has a CMOS sensor which is very high quality.

Canon & Nikon (IMHO) do make the very best cameras.

Hi Fairygirl.....we did do a lot of hillwalking but not quite as much now....mountain biking and a big greenhouse now keeps me busy!

Love your pic image  I love to see mist in a valley or even better if you are on top of a mountain and catch a cloud inversion!
