Look forward to it Ann image

  • KEF - The old saying says 'cold hands, warm heart'....I'm sure that's true in your case. image

Tell me to go away if I'm wrong, but I've been wondering if you've reset your camera after it being in macro mode, before taking non-macro pics.

Now my imagination is working overtime.....Ann in the Lake District - Wordsworth in Grasmere????

  • Kef I had a swimsuit like that. I'll try and find some old photos later.

  • I would just say that I'm very much in favour of seeing these old family photos, the thread needs to be diverse to progress.

I do have quite a lot of such snaps, unfortunately I don't have a scanner at present.

I've got a samsung tablet (have I ever mentioned that lol image) if i take a photo of a photo and then click on the tree, does that work? image

I've taken photos of photos before and it worked. I don't have a tablet, I have a Samsung laptop. To post photos I click on the oak tree and follow instructions, making sure I leave enough time for each stage to happen. Sometimes it's quite slow.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Thanks Busy, will have a go later. Will have a look for some photos

David I set it back to auto easy but still get macro flower in top left of screen when I go in close.  I don't know if that has always been there, as only recently have I put my specs on to take pics.  I did press Macro option on left of dial when I first tried Macro pics, but as I say I hadn't looked if it was already there.

Thanks for advice, might need to re-learn / re-read.

Only picked this camera so I could see screen to take pics, without specs image First digital camera I've had. image

Cold hands, weak brain me thinks image

Old photos would be good I will need to borrow them & scan some more.

Can't wait to see Lily in her little bubble, water retaining number. Only girls will know how those things felt, chaps you are sooo lucky. Unless your Mum knitted your trunks.

  • Lol, I remember those trunks kef, none of them ever shrunk after going in the sea!
