It is not unknown in my other hobby (astrophotography) for unscrupulous internet photo retailers to steal amateur astronomers' work and sell it as their own.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Thanks, Bob.....I'll keep that in mind. I am slightly mystified. As I have said previously, I know my pics posted on my Flickr account are vulnerable.....but anyone wishes to copy them, that's fine by me.
I'm rather intrigued by the shot 'Bluebell wood in Essex'....it's almost identical to one of mine.
Edd the plant is a drumstick primula (primula denticulata) it will soon develop a stalk and look like a pompom on a stick
David, cropping is the "homework" I haven't done. I save pics on computer(&back them up) and use Paint in Windows to alter size etc. However I haven't yet learned how to crop. Some posters on the thread were telling me about it recently. When I get around to it I'll give a shout if I have problems.
It's only since I joined the Forum that I've started taking regular pictures of the garden. Now I have a monthly record. In February, when not much was supposed to happen I've taken nearly forty snaps. Not counting all the playing with Macro shots. They aren't all good pics but I'm just happy to have the images.

KEF - Hope you don't mind, but just for example and for you to see, I've cropped your lovely little flower pic.
Yes Edd - they're leaves unfurl in the same way as all the primulas. I've got a few here which were covered up by a rhodie. I dug them up and stuck them in pots and will put them in my corner by the shed. They're quite pretty and a nice alternative to the standard polyanthus. You can get them in white, and( I think) a ruby red colour as well.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi - can someone clarify what the issue with the copyright photograph is? I ask because I know that some of my photographs have been 'lifted' (not from here) and published elsewhere without accreditation and I wasn't sure whether to pursue or not. If someone is trying to make money from DavidK's bluebell wood photograph surely that is wrong. Whose photograph is it? Has someone put their own copyright signature on someone else's photograph?
Also I have tried right clicking on photographs as someone suggested in order to get to google search to find the source but my right click doesn't list google search in the options. Any ideas? Thank you.

David, if you look at the exif data on your original, it will very likely identify the serial number of the camera used:

Archie, lovely pics, crisp and clear.

Thanks David, don't mind at all. It does look much better. I will, when I've the time and motivation, swat up on how to do it.

Edd - just went out and looked at my primulas. Mine aren't as far on in terms of flower but you can see the leaves quite clearly

Were those pics taken this weekend Archie? If so I presume you are either a City or Sunderland fan?
