Loving all of these pics. As I'm no photographer, I'll just post mine on the garden pics threads. However, the 'bog' and 'bathroom pics caught my eye and reminded me of my childhood. My Dad was quite famous in the seventies as a world Karate Champion. One day, the local paper came to take pics of him with his latest trophy. However, the cameraman became more fixated on my Nanna watering the primroses in the toilet that was in the front garden. The strawberries in the bath and the birds in the sink all made the local paper, too. How embarrassed was I, at 8 yrs old, telling people my address, to be met with 'oh, the house with the bathroom in the garden'?!
I now have a bath in my garden, I am ashamed to say.(not really!) Being fibreglass, it grew lovely xmas spuds with little need of extra insulation. It will grow pumpkins this year. But I have hidden it in the BACK garden so as not to embarrass my boys in the same way. (or myself, as it is THE most horrible kind of turquoisey colour. In fact, much like the colour Mum and Dad installed INSIDE after they removed the classic white to the garden!!!) Fashion, eh? Keep something long enough------
David...love the Peak District pic! Higgy....what a fab idea using the old bathroom suite....the bath would have made a much better pond in my bog garden rather than the pre-formed one that we bought!
As I have been looking as some old photos I came across the one below.....makes me want the better weather to arrive so that we can once again enjoy the garden on an evening!

KEF - On the theme of Ann's cup pic, I thought you may like to see this one I took with my camera (using the macro setting) similar to yours.

Nice story, Jeannie......it's amazing how these childhood experiences remain etched in our memory and triggered by someone's pic posted here.
As always, lots of lovely pics on here, but must mention David's stream in the valley - absolutely gorgeous - love it
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Cheers, Dove.....taken in the Peak District, the river Dove as I recall!
