Thanks David - both pictures taken local to me on a Canon Power Shot - a really cheap camera but I like it only because unusually it has a view finder as well as a display screen.
What an "imaginative" (& stimulating) thread! I've enjoyed it immensely - right from the start. Hopefully it will continue to attract a wide variety of photographic material (& informed discussion).
Congratulations to all who have contributed so far!!
Nice pic, David M and thank you for your kind comment.
Things were a little quiet here over the weekend, but apart from peeps having other stuff to be getting on with, I suppose they must have used-up most of their pics by now.
I must try to get snapping myself soon. I always feel that just after daybreak & about an hour before sunset are the best times for outdoor shots. I like fishing, which offers some good opportunities.
I have a plan to take an indoor shot, involving mirrors....when I get around to it.

Autumnal colour down in the forest.
That's rather unusual, Forester. It seems the fern spoors have taken root in the moss on the branch......makes a great pic though.
Another great autumn shot too!

A real shock for my camellia 'Water lily'.
Btw, it's small cos I cropped it.

Wow, such great pictures. All you need are fairies and pixies

Fantastic picture David M - it's amazing what you can find if you crawl around on the ground.
I agree, Forester....... a more apt description, than my 'nice' pic.
Sorry, David M.
