  • OH WOW!, Nikki, Busy, and Fidget, what fantastic pics, they are beautiful. Really love the foxes and what a pretty garden.

Nikki the sky on your 'sand' photos is fantastic.

Lizzie I now want to go on holiday.

Fidget, brill photos as usual, love the close up of the teasel.

  • More smashing shots.....thank you Nikki, Lizzie & Fidget for sharing them.

While I'm here I would just say that my visits for the next week or so may be a bit spasmodic.

On Tuesday my central heating boiler burst, flooding the first floor and now, having no heat or hot water , I’ve arranged to move out for the time being......well, at least until a new boiler is fitted next Friday (7th Feb).

Where I will be staying hasn’t any WiFi connection, but I’ll be visiting home on a daily basis, so will be looking in then.

Don’t like bathrooms with a 2c temperature!   image

David, sorry to hear about your home. Hope after the boiler is replaced that you don't have too much damage to correct.

Look forward to beach photos Tracey.

David that's awful. It seems a very long time to wait for it to be sorted. You have my sympathy. It's fixing the other damage done too. image

Yes - it would be a bit chilly in the bathroom!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hi, folks, thanks for your concern..I'm here at the fridge that I used to call home.  image

I'm not too happy either by the length of time it will take for my boiler to be replaced, but you may be assured I've made that known to the boiler engineer. It seems that he'll not bee able to get a replacement until Thursday...so unless I start complicating matters by involving other engineers, I'll just have to go along with it.

Anyway, things are not so bad, I'm living less than a mile away and very comfortable, apart from access to the tinternet.

TBH, compared to what those poor people south of me are having to endure, it's pretty trivial.

David, my brother puts boilers in all the time-- he gets them from B&Q on a trade account.
