Another lovely shot, Fg......although I can well understand why you opt for panoramic, to be honest I feel it takes something away from them...ie viewing through a letterbox?
Re my photographing the Highlands......what I do have in my favour is the fact that I have unlimited free rail travel and time isn't a restricting factor.....I feel a Michael Portillo coming on.
Back to butterflies, there's a tropical butterfly farm (open all year round) nr Stratford-on-Avon that allows photography (I've checked) this is quite doable from where I live (55miles) so may give it a try.
I know what you mean about the panoramics David - I do take individual ones at the same time (usually) and close ups/ zoom as well, but sometimes you get such a great sense of scale with a panoramic. I can zoom them in too of course!
They should enlarge quite well when clicked on though - I think...
Didn't have that feature on the last camera either, so it's a bit of a novelty for me
David - what's keeping you then? All aboard.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lovely pics Hosta, could just do with sitting on a hot beach somewhere or a peaceful afternoon on that yacht..........but not at that hotel

the water between " that hotel" and the one opposite was only waist deep. Most odd.
