Think they (winterwatchers) might have been blown away last night....
I'm a couple of hours drive to get into red squirrel country, but in an hour I can be at Loch Lomond/Arrochar etc. I don't take it for granted - I'm grateful every time I drive along that road that I can see all that beauty.
When it's not p***ing with rain of course....
Tinker away David! I've been trawling through all my online photos and tinkering with them too. It's taking me forever, but I can't believe the difference it's made to some of the walking pix in particular. Should have done it years ago
Re that pic you were trying to zoom in on - would it help if I give you the original pic? That was a cropped one.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
"Re that pic you were trying to zoom in on - would it help if I give you the original pic? That was a cropped one." Thank you Fg, but it wouldn't help.
Pleased to hear your getting some enjoyment from editing your pics (as you know) a little tweak here & there does make a big difference and perhaps justifies my starting this thread.
I'm not too keen on drastic alteration normally associated with 'Photoshop', it (for me) makes them total fakes......in fact, it's an issue that prompted me to quit my camera club.
For what it's worth, although a few tweaks can be made using Photobucket, I prefer to use MS's Windows.
Gorgeous pix doc. What a contrast to our current climate! Love the strelitzia, in particular as well as your little friend at the end.
What is the second plant in the second set?
David - I've been doing them on the Windows editing doo dah but I use Photobucket to put the pix on here. It's a bit slow for altering sometimes. It's not working at the moment but I might put a few 'before and after' pix on later.
I'm amazed at the difference the tweaks made. It's not always possible on hills to get the exact shot you want - can't manufacture weather and where the sun is! Being able to just lift and sharpen the colours is fantastic

I am trying to upload pictures from Caribbean holiday, but for some reason nothing happens. Pictures from old camera still up load fine.
Any ideas?

Excellent shots.....uploading batches of 9 & 4 can sometimes take a little while.
What makes and models are the two cameras?
