KEF - I've always had a quirky/odd SOH.....sometimes it surfaces here and I wonder if peeps understand or think I'm a complete loony.
For example, pics were being posted here recently of when we were at play as kids. I passed some comment culminating in 'of course there were no paedophiles around when I was a kid - we had to buy our own sweets'.......was just kidding!
Btw, you say 'some very demure crossing of ankles on the front row'....I would add, arranged at the pain of death by the photographer.
Loving the 'old' pix on here. Must dig a few out of my beautiful Mum. Most of mine are in the loft but I have some in a frame that I made for my Dad, so I'll try and take a few pix when the batteries charge up for the camera.
Lily - my snowdrops have a couple of little buds showing so looking forward to seeing them soon. Surprised they haven't been washed away in the front but I left a little ditch between the grass and the border so that's helped! Lots of crocus and reticulata iris coming through well too. Makes the winter shorter when you see them popping up.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Think I'm as daft as you, and Lily certainly is. ( Guess I'm on Lily's step now)
I understood your comments and laughed. Sometimes people take things too seriously, to me laughter is the best tonic in the world, even bettter with a vodka in I thought the demure poses were due to your sister.

Yes, with a long dress.

I'm just the one who started it, it's success is purely down to you lovely lot who have supported it with your fabulous photos and friendly input.

Don't be naughty again, or we will have to call it the Lily step.

Here's a pic of catkins on my hazel which were taken just before the thunder & lightning arrived:
If you zoom-in you can just make out the tiny female flowers (red bits on the end of some buds) which eventually turn into nuts.
