We all need some colour in our lives Verdunimage.  Your garden is a beautiful blend of colour and I'm sure it would be really difficult to get the same effect in shades of greyimage

Well, black & white certainly wouldn't have added anything to this shot.

Taken in early summer, sitting in the shade of my large damson tree, looking towards my veg garden.

  • I know what you mean Charlie.  At least he wasn't convinced it was a 'UFO' which Jupiter is often reported as! image When the atmosphere is unstable even bright planets can 'twinkle' like stars, showing muliple changing colours and can even seem to move about a small amount which often causes confusion.  There are some great mobile phone apps now which allow you just to point your phone at the sky and it tells you what you can see.  Quite amazing technology really!

  • Great take, Bob....I prefer my snow to be on Christmas cards, rather than the M6. image

Just spotted this, taken during one of my many sunset hunting missions during the gorgeous summer of 2014.

Never quite managed the perfect one! image
