they're not easy. You didn't say what your indoor trees are. A spell outside might have sorted but it's a bit late in the year for that now
If you are a "green" gardener there is a predatory mite that will eat them called Phytoseiulus persimilis, which can be bought online.
If you aren't interested in that kind of thing, malathion type sprays are said to keep them at bay, though I wouldn't know as I am a green gardener.
