I was wondeing about your pigs too kef, but not sure what dove upto and where she's been, unless the b garden trip lasting a bit longer than planned. Never mind as long as wveryones ok. Nope I am not going back to redo typos!
fidget, you've sent me Aussie away? Shame on you - we hadn't finished with him!
Friends garden we went to today is a bit of a challenge! Got a high wall fitted with rows and rows of planting pockets, wish id taken a photo but not that good a friend. Just needs stuff tto suppress weeds, not a lot of maintenance ( dif to get to) and ground cover with interest. Can't wait to get my hands on it (not that im invited!).clim Ing rambling stuff once weeds are less of an issue too.
Evening all. Just in - been grafting - digging holes for posts to make a screen. Bit of re potting and deadheading done too, but I did lots of h****work this morning so I think I need a small treat.
No pigs here lily (unless you count my two girls) - you're living in a sherbert filled parallel universe methinks....
KEF has answered Panda's question re pots for me If you have the tall pots for clematis, they're even better, but it won't really matter. I think one of them was in one of those and the other was in a standard 6/7" pot.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
MrsG - I turned Barnsdale into a 3 day holibob Travelled to S Lincs on Thursday and stayed with OH's sister and niece who live near to Nut - then on Friday I went to Nuts and she, Artjak and I went to Barnsdale and back together. Friday night I niece-sat for sister in law (we had a lovely Chinese takeaway) and I drove back to Norfolk today
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Keep up ladies, can't you remember last time I looked after them and thought someone had nicked them or they'd escaped Perhaps not but I will never forget it especially OH jumping fence to round them up. SIL had visited and taken them in the house.
Have we all got sunstroke? Comments are all over the place and, for once, don't make a lot of sense
Thank KEF, put first one in 6inch diameter pot but then the roots for the second wouldn't fit in (too long) so put em in a 6inch depth pot! One of them is right
When Pa Panda brought the lawn mower round (lawn done by me btw ) he also gave me a sprinkler for the garden These should come with a stand well back warning! Could be coz am using it with an x hose (where the action is all at the wet end) and when I turned it on I got soaked! Good job I was hot from the mowing
Right washing to come in and then I'm moving the sprinkler!
Panda - don't worry too much about the pots. Once they're growing away and the roots fill those pots, you can put them into something bigger till next spring when they'll be sturdy enough to put out where you want them. They make good pot specimens anyway. Those ones have only ever been in pots as I've had nowhere suitable to put them in the few years I've had them.
