Hi all.  Travelled home early today to find the garden has gone bonkers - at least the weeds have.  Everyone seems to energetic today - bike rides, lawn mowing, etc. even dancing round bonfires tonightimage

Just been out and cut off the lupin heads that have gone to seed and next it's the poppies.

If anyone wants a long term project I have some snakeshead fritillary seed going spare.  It apparently takes two growing seasons before they can be planted out in the garden but it's worth a try.  Just let me know.

Hmm - perhaps I should save some of the lupin seeds tooimage  Plenty of them.

Hello folks!  I'm home after Barnsdale trip and staying with the rellies - I paid for my bed and board by 'babysitting' delightful 12 year old niece - we had a Chinese meal and stayed up past my usual bedtime image

I had a good journey home today and whilst OH has done jolly well with the garden, I've been watering pots and putting the sprinkler on the veg patch since I got home.

Now I'll have a quick catch up with what's been happening on the Forum image

Enjoy the bike ride Mrs G!!

OH is moping about the house and watching a god awful tear jerker type nonsense. Why don't men have reset buttons?!

Been too hot to do much today, need to battle on with the weeds but it's friends birthday bbq in a bit so they'll have to wait.

    Panda diameter image

Finally finished watering at neighbours, pigs fed at another, mine watered. GH's at all 3 attended to. This morning I sorted weeds on block pathed drive and hung out some washing and did some deadheading and weeding, made my curry for tonight before 9am image

Didn't paint the shed or my GH staging..was rather warm image

Took time out to chat to a good friend and that's the only time I've really sat down.

Having my curry early as starving, no lunch. So I guess after food and a drink I'll be ready for bed. Teach me to get up before 6am.

Have a great evening all & don't be dancing naked anywhere image even if it is the 21st.
