I am sooooooo chilled I could be an Eskimo image That was the best facial and back massage, amazing image My sis is coming a bit later now so that gives me a bit more relaxing time seen as all HW is done, although there is ironing to do.....no it can wait!!

Clari, I'm not saying the mum should be worried or anything about you, but it is slightly worrying that a parent would let her child wonder off with a complete stranger??? I wonder what the mum would have done if you weren't actually as nice as you were and had lured him out with sweets? Very strange but lovely of you to amuse him while mum got on with shopping image

Chrissie, I was beginning to think I didn't do teenagers either but after the 'inner chimp' course I do understand them a lot better and a new calm has fallen over the Orchid household.....it's called let them have a messy bedroom and do what they want without nagging and in return they are really nice to you and actually spend time downstairs with you, now there's a novelty all of a sudden image

Thanks for waving your wand Fairy, it seems to be working already image

Right, cup of tea time xx

Yes, the jam is sorted, yippee image It looks a lot better than yesterday, darker richer colour, fruit distributed better and it just looks so much better image The only downside is it reduced quite a bit so none spare for us and 2 jars short......oops but not a major issue as they were for people that couldn't make it anyway and my mum and dad wanted 2! Well now they can have one, they shouldn't be eating it anyway being diabetic image

Right, HW to do and then off to be pampered for a couple of hours imageimage

OL - I did wonder about the mother not seeming to be concerned about her child, very strange since it wasn't even as if he was old enough to catch a bus home if she'd left him! (I seem to remember he was still in a nappy). Perhaps she was unwell and thus her attention was lacking but I know taking the children I used to baby sit to the park was the most stressful time of me life and not worth the money I was paid (I swear they plan ahead to run in separate directions!)

Glad your pampering is working. Leave that ironing - what's the point in a back massage if you ruin it all stood over an ironing board?!

Sounds like you had a lovely time Percy - get that garden tidied up! If she's on first name terms they might appear for a cup of tea one day!
