Just back from the GC Bought a whole heap of plants I didn't mean to get and two that I did! Oh, and a tin tray and some notelets As you do! Got £10 off so that made it feel a bit better
Has been a glorious day here. All went well apart from the destruction of my lovely delicate alliums (see below). Some of my air bricks needed replacing on the house and the cavity wall man couldn't replace the bricks without trampling the flowers Just glad I took pics a couple of days ago.
Just had salad. My rocket, salad leaves, water cress and cumbers from neighbour, radishes, spring onions and no taste toms from SM. Plus some salmon with ginger on and my chives Wedges made from my spuds So if you consider the cost of growing a few bits as money spent on a hobby, nearly a meal for nothing
Hi all, pretty alliums Panda, will be back next year even better!
Had to make a hot water bottle- sure its June?
Aldi have some amazing veggie plants 2l pots, really big healthy plants for ??2.99! Im very tempted, would it be very naughty to spend my last tenner on them? Maybe i have a problem!!!
Panda I think you have an Astilbe with the pinkish flowers, if so it loves moisture and shade I very well might be wrong. Nice Heuchera name ? I know the one top 2nd to right but brain dead, what is the one top row far right? I like that.
Edit, not sure about Astilbe and the one in pink pot is a Hebe ? No doubt I'm totally wrong but can't blame a gal for trying

Hi all sneaked out to move my Mathiola seedlings into their own pots earlier! Some seeds I seem to be succeeding with, fingers crossed they make it

I do indeed have an Astilbe KEF
Plants in order:
Top row: Astilbe: Hebe 'Rhubarb and Custard': Heucherella 'Tapestry'
Middle row: Ipomoea (didn't realise was an annual): Heuchera 'Ginger Ale'
Next row: Nasturtiums
Bottom row: two Patio mix variety packs - Traditional mix and Sunshine Yellow for my pots
Hello folks - back from visiting Aged Ps - Pa has a chest infection again but antibiotics are kicking in
It's a lovely sunny evening here - I've been out watering pots and raised bed. Now I have my feet up and OH is making a cuppa
Panda, those nasturtiums will soon be gorgeous!
