Hi all, actually managed to swap some pots round today, the violas past their best relegated to near back door and dianthus and pelargonium by front door, even managed to plant 2 clematis! Just 4 left now, think got places ready, just got to plant. Was v evil yesterday and went out in thick gauntlets ( I'm v squeamish) to pick snails off beanss ticks ( eating big holes in my sweet peas grrrrr) and pop them in a tin of boiling water. Oh dear I do feel cruel, but they're taking the p!?@ now, even slime all over buds...hope everyone's had a good day, if there' s any cake going I' d love a bit please, I can share the orange and chocolate cupcakes we made yesterday if anyone would like?
Oh. Is it Monday Run ragged here - shopping trips, card buying trips, cooking and gardening all afternoon - phew! (Shower next - after watering). Lovely to be here though and mum and dad are doing really well Oh, the internet works sometimes . I miss you all when it doesn't.
Glad you're a happy Panda - must be all Dove's treats
I've got a couple of days to catch up on but hope you are all doing well.
Hi Rebecca nice to meet you - just throw yourself into the mix
Hello again folks - it's been cool here all day but I did get the washing dry and did pot on my Begonia semperflorens and the Fuchsia Hawkshead went into a bigger pot until I decide where it's going to live.
Panda, glad you've had a good day
Rebecca Banned from cake does not compute
Gardengirl - put your feet up and have a doze.
Rosemummy - don't feel guilty - they have to learn consequences! Cupcakes sound good
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I've just watched the footie Germany played and I now understand what "gone down like a bag of spuds" means. I didn't know that Anne Robinson and Angela Merkel were twins
Done stuff in garden bits and bobs and faffing so not worth a mention.

Dove, all these auctions you go to, are you buying or selling?
Its been very quiet on here today. I've tied the sweet peas up again as they seem determined to lay on the floor with the slugs.
neighbours dogs are happy again now that their MUm is home.
Its finally brightened up here after being dull all day.
Barnsdale on Friday. Only 4 sleeps to go.
Can I save a cupcake for pudding please?
Rebecca, meant to say, virtual cake carries no calories so eat away
