    Hi Louise.

Pd I haven't got the sun, feels blinking cold here. Like the back suggestion, but a tad early, might do later.

Time to get ready to shuffle around the SM with OH. image

Morning all. Another lovely day. More weeding.

May sow some more seeds. My baby petunias seem to be damping off. Lobelias have stayed the same size, tiny, for 3 weeks. But Gazanias and Busy-Lizzies doing well. Poor germination from the rudbeckias that I collected the seeds from, but masses of Nicotiana.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Just when you learn how to garden really well, you're too old to do it anymore

Just sitting here waiting for the 10 to 15 c of snow the weather man promised we will get today.

Just enjoying the sun on my lunch break, and feeling bad for doing so as it sounds like Bill is having our winter! It must seem like it will never end image

Hi Bill. Like your comment about gardening image

Hope your weatherman has got it wrong. We are doing very well weather wise 10C, dry & sun in S.Yorks.

I'm just off to shops so will check in later. Hope you are as okay as you can be. image

Well, the sun is now out and it is warm. I have been adopting my favourite postion in the garden, namely horizontal and have been weeding.

Saw a goldcrest this morning which was a real plus.

    See you all later.

    Hi all

Wall to wall sunshine here in Liverpool so off to the allotment any minute.  Compost to spread, beds to hoe (possibly not in that order, come to think of it...) in prep for planting out onions & broad beans started in the g/h.  Ooh - time to start sowing carrots too.  I DO like spring!

And I also like this place - only joined a few days ago and, following conversations, it feels like I'm among friends.image

    Sure are among friends steve.

Busy this morning, oh look at the time this pm also. Step son off ill today (feel sick, tummy ache),  (yeah right!) so I took him to docs, got gaviscon, wouldn't go back to school, so he's been sat in car while I do errands all day. Booked him in for blood tests but sure he's ok, sorry never went to sympathy lessons at school. Hope your LO ok Stacey. Took SIL party food shopping for party at my house on Sat, brother's 60TH. Then my own shopping! Got veg ready for roast dinner. Washing on line.

Hope to get out now to chop some laurels down as far as I dare without OH having heart failure! Waiting for mum to arrive on bus and son to get home from school.
