Blackies might be commonplace but they are amongst our loveliest birds I think. Nothing to beat their song. They were coming in during the winter for apples and bits and pieces so I hope they get more friendly and familiar this year
I'm not a naughty fairy OL ...
Ain't doing your cleaning though...
Verd- did you see doc's Canna that he grew from some 'acquired' seed? Quite unusual. pic on the Garden Gallery thread.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
been up since 5 as usual but v grey here, thunderstorms forecast so didn't water last night..maybe should've, think just off to v nearby fete which has a bouncy castle so that'll be 3 year old happy, doubt if i'll get anything done in garden, feeling ropey anyway, got mastitis again but got antibiotics before the real flu symptoms set in, hope you all have lovely wkend
Oooh, I'm hungry - don't often do a big breakfast but I want one NOW!!! It won't happen today tho - maybe a dippy egg?
Verdun - I've not grown achilleas before - well, not intentionally anyway, but as the ones in our front lawn seem to enjoy the conditions out there I thought I'd give one a go, and on our Bressingham trip I bought Achillea 'Sunny Seduction' - it's gorgeous, a sort of buttery yellow with a hint of acidity - very pleased with it.
I have to go out and get more cold/flu type thingies for oldest fairy daughter. I hate going near any kind of shop on a Saturday. My own fault - I should have nicked out last night
I do a lot of pondering too OL. Nice to do that sometimes though

Hugs Rosemummy & little Fairy..sounds like you are cooking again Fairy.
OL, HW won't do itself, but on nice days I walk around the house with my sunglasses on so I don't notice.
