Ooo not got drizzle or thunder yet, sure you'll send it over kef! Btw - holding down garden chair? The mind boggles but each to their own;-)
Verdun, ever wishful of having the stress of handing in my notice well done to your niece... And to you for leaving her to learn to deal with the aggro, she will be even greater with your guidance v independance v growing balance thingy!
Night KEF - I'm weary too so might have a lie down. The rain didn't really happen apart from a spell this morning but it's quite oppressive here. Wish it would make up it's mind.
Tomorrow is another day.
Enjoy the rest of the evening everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Well, I got the sweetcorn in, watered in, shredding finished.
Now I'm cream crackered. Its not the planting, its digging it over, 3 barrows of FYM, fork it in,add FBB, fork it in, and then plant. Still I shouldn't have much to do now until we eat them. Although I might need to borrow a Jack Russell to keep the squirrels off.
You've all been so busy in the garden and I've been faffing about cooking for the freezer, housework and packing. Oh - I did go out to sort out a few plants I'm taking for Mum & Dad in the morning.
If, for some reason I can't get dad's computer working, I'll see you all next weekend. Good luck with the preparations for the Highland Show Fairy.
Glass of wine has been drunk here - now pretzels are being nibbled while we listen to David Attenborough talking about bats.
A couple of years ago we were invited to the grand opening of an exhibition of the art of the South Pacific - David Attenborough was the guest of honour and at one stage we were placed very close to him. He has the most amazingly beautiful skin. Being so close to him was nearly as exciting as being very close indeed to a troop of Maori warriors performing a traditional Haka ... an experience that will remain with me for a very long time indeed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
No camping KEF, just spent the evening there. Still, no toilets though, let alone en suites!
MrsG, think KEF was holding down the chair with her bottom!
Too many posts to comment on - I am in awe of those that can remember from one page to the next what everyone has done.
Watered the garden when I got home and tried to quell the impulse to duck every time a swift whirled over head. We get loads of them round my way as our houses have appropriate nesting spots in the eaves of our houses. Haven't got one nesting yet but hope to one day

Goodnight all
Maybe froggy and ladybird will have a dinner party L
