Pam I seem to remember seeing an experiment about water going in different directions each side of the equator.  When on the equator the water just went straight down and didn't swirl (think it may have been on one of Michael Palin's trips).  Don't know what that means for climbing plants thoughimage

Have a good day at the auction Dove (sit on your hands) and with aged P's. At least it's the last day for the workers.  Hope you recover a bit today Clari.

Verdun I put these on image and can't see a thing - it's raining hereimage

Morning all, lovely here again. Done the supermarket, lovely to have the roof off the car at 6.30.

Another lazy day for me, cant work in the heat, just look and cogitate,

As some folks on here know, I tend to be rather quick to rise to the bait, so if I can resist replying to unpleasant trouble makers, you all can.

best wishes to the workers, a grand weekend to look forward to.

How can you lie there and think of England

Morning all. Another hot day coming.

Loads of mangetout peas to pick and freeze. OH picked loads of raspberries yesterday. We are going to England on Sunday for 2 weeks, so if the housesitter doesn't pick and freeze the broad beans we'll lose a lot of them. I hope he picks the sweet peas.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

Another gorgeous day and another spending day. Off to buy some large pots for some needy plants, if they are in stock that is. I don't mind the walk and well, there are plants at the end of it image I'm feeling greedy.
