Not heard from James for months - does anyone follow his blog?
Decided if i get a wiggle on there are a dozen young foxgloves I can get in the ground this morning - rain forecast tomorrow will be a good first day for them.
we haven't heard our buzzards for a few weeks now - they are normally a regular feature calling to each other above our heads. Do you think one might be sat on a nest, so that there is no need for the other to call? Will be sad if they have moved on
It's ok Verd- I'll hold back the plague of locusts/slugs/vultures for now....
I potted up some big foxglove plugs the other day chicky. I swear they've grown tons already. Looking forward to getting them out later on in the year
Everything growing lots with all the rain. My grass looks quite good considering how bad it was when I moved here. Sweet peas are a bit behind as I was late getting them in but they'll catch up.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lovely and sunny here, but still crippled so no gardening for me.
Am going to watch OH putting up the tent, because she doesnt want us to struggling when we go to Glastonbury. I thought that was half the fun.
None of the rugby brought any joy, but it was quite a thrill watching the nephew on tele. He will be playing for Edinburgh next year, I hope he makes it in the professional game.
Hope you all have a lovely day, I think i might do a bit of bird watching.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
