Evening all.... Tracey how r ur chillies? Any sign yet? mine r romping away!!! Well after I did the lawn lo decided she wasn't well, threw up and suffered a raging temp all day till daddy got home then all was fine!!! Typical... Does anyone with thalictrum have any signs of life yet??? Right dishes and pack lunch for tomorrow... Laters peeps
Ooooh - so much going on. Positive vibes go to KEF with her toe and back, Clari with her head and Dove's Ma - hope she has not hurt herself - and Stacey's lo. Glad you enjoyed your break punkdoc, and celebrated in style and with gusto.
Pond is looking great Dove - keep us posted as it develops ( I love watching a project!) . 3 arches will be perfect Mrs G - all that planting space - plus it pays to be bold. Lizzie - great progress from the first to the last pic - love jobs like that when you can really see what you've done.
Stacey - my big thalictrums are sprouting (Erin - about 6 ft tall), but no signs of my little ones yet (Hewitts double). Too early to be worrying about no shows yet i think - it has been a weird winter, and different plants will react in different ways.
and where's Woody ? Can't still be working out how to work is iThing.
Verdun & chicky, will be out tomorrow with tape measure to assess arch situation. If I go for just one I've more money for plants. If I go for three more plants will need buying regardless of cost, hmmm! Each arch is 72" wide from memory so not like one on its own would look lost. 3 could look crowded or silly. 2 is just a daft number. Why am I not built to be a decision maker, ever the procrastinator.... Decision will be made tomorrow - or the day after, or...
Tracey have you got them in freezer bags or plastic bags with elastic bands over the pots to maintain the humidity and heat? They should be doing something by now maybe where you have them isn't warm enough.... My lupins are all doing great in the garden ATM they are usually munched by now.... Omg don't know if I told you this but you know some of the chemicals in garden feed well I was talking to my cousin who is a bio chemist for a large pharmaceutical company and he was telling me that they use the by product from making Viagra lol so now you know why ur plants stand tall.....

Verdun, so everything that looks like thin green sticks, I just cut that right back? Down to the base? There are no leaves or anything on it
