Hello everyone, not been in the garden today (yet), been on an 18 mile bike ride instead and feel great, now just making a Country Cottage Pie for tea, we have to eat early on Sunday as big little man is at work at 6pm.

Glad your back is feeling better Panda image

I've had a happy busy day in garden, only done one "Verdun" when potting cumbers into final buckets I knocked growing tip off one image It will have to spread from side, I didn't really need 4 anyway image Courgettes planted and lots of "faffy" stuff done, KEF does like sunny warm days image

Been glorious, had time under brolly whilst OH who can't sit still did stuff. Roast beef dinner planned for today, think plan B needed. image

Hope all enjoy the rest of the day. Was there some sport going on ? image

Yes Cornwall were the better team. Lancashire did score more points but Cornwall still won. image

There was a rumour at one time that Verdun was Monty Don as when he talked about something it was always mentioned on GW the following week but I never suspected he was 'the dike of Gloucester'.

Not yet Lesley but it's tempting, lovely and warm & sunny, and they say rain & even hail later in the week.image

Panda I have PM'd you image

Now best think of plan B as roast beef isn't an option.

Roast beef is always an option, especially in Gods own county.

About to take a beer out to the garden.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Hmmmm, beer in the garden sounds very good Punk, but as I inadvertently used lots of my 'points' on something I thought was healthy, I have now got to be extra good!!! image

My next door but one neighbour has just been round and asked if I want another compost bin.....she doesn't want it!!!  Don't mind if I do, so off to collect it shortly image
