Back from helping at the stall at the bric a brac sale in local village. Weather was fine.

Will be busy this weekend, 2 daughters coming to see son and DIL's new baby, son lives near me. All coming to lunch on Saturday, that's 3 couples and 6 grandchildren, but one is only 3 weeks old. Other son, wife and granddaughter came last weekend. Car going to garage for new tyres, then I must do shopping tomorrow, and bed making and loo cleaning.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Welcome newbie Goddess. Have you any idea what these nutters on here are like?

I'm the sensible one. Verdun said so.

Hello and welcome Gardeninggoddess.  I've been out for a while and missed most of the chat so far.  Busy-Lizzie you really are going to beimage

Just had an e-mail from my dad who has found out my great-great grandfather was gardener at Charles Darwins childhood home (as seen on Countryfile)  Don't know what's happened to the genes - I need all the help I can get.

Is it an owl?  Their heads can turn round but don't remember them looking up
