Perennial rudbeckias left in the ground overwinter have been decimated by slugs. I dug the remains up, potted and moved into TLC area.image

Cherry brandy and cherokee sunset I treat like annual bedding. Space at least a foot apart.

I spent today moving staging out of greenhouse, staking tomatoes which had got to the floppy  stage, and found four roscoeas coming up in a pot. Then I found the roscoea seeds i sowed last year have started to germinate. Little broad leaves all over the tray.image

I've also killed a lot of big fat black slugs and stamped on a lot of snails.

Glad some of you have had a good day image it's been rain rain rain rain rain rain all day.  Skies a little clearer now but everything is absolutely soaked.  I managed to plant out my Munstead Wood but the soil was so wet I ended backfilling with my hands, goodness knows what it's done to the clay structure, it all looked like chocolate ice cream (but not as tasty).  There's no point in going out because I don't need to water anything and I'm not going to start weeding because I'll be soaked in 2 seconds.  I'm hoping from some respite tomorrow, maybe even a bit of sunshine who knows?

OOOOOH -if you press on the little green arrow, you can go straight to the latest post on here.  I always went in to the title and then tried to fast forward from 'last read post' and spent ages getting up to date, and couldn't be bothered.  But the little green arrow - genius!  If you wait long enough, even the dumbest forum members will catch up with the technology image

Yes!!  For me it often happens long after it fell into place for the rest of civilisation, but I get there in the end.image
