Grrrrr, still having problems ordering the lavenders. this time the payment seems to have gone through but I didn't get an 'order confirmatio' just back to basket and message saying basket is empty. I have emailed for confirmation, so no idea if they need reordering again yet
It seems to have brightened up. Mrs Mallard hasn't been for breakfast. I dont know what shes doing up in Scotland.
I stocked up on dog food at the supermarket. Right load of cheeky fox cubs this year, I'm expecting them to start knocking on the back door for dinner.
I've been doing sudoko in front of the fire. I suppose I should turn it off and go and do something, like water the plants in the greenhouse. I think some of the later flowering stuff like rudbeckias will have to go in larger pots, to slot in when the oriental poppies get cut down.
Fidget, the rudbekias I already had (before the ones you kindly gave me) seemed to be struggling under / next to clumps of lupins. I have now moved them where they have more space - would they have come through in their own time? Or do they need the light? Finding this dilemma with a few different plants this year as my garden begins to mature. Would appreciate any ideas about this as I do keep moving things, perhays waiting to see may actually be ok????
Well, the rain has stopped - everything is very wet - even the frogs look surprised at the amount of water dripping off the long grass onto their heads.
Remember I said that there were harlequin ladybirds 'coupling' on the rose bush the other day? Well, they're still there and they're hoovering up the aphids - hardly any left

I think my head is going to explode Fairy....and I've found a plant that I don't know what it is! I've put it on another thread
Still raining!
Hi Frazzled
OL, they look fantastic, phew where will you put them all. Perhaps you could have a plant sale, then all proceeds towards a shrub or something.

Rain has just stopped, and now the sun is shining. But there are still a few black clouds up there so I expect there's more rain to come
