Morning MrsG. Never played opposites - might try that
We're just catching the edge of the weather front, but I hope I'll get something done outside if it doesn't lash down and the bones aren't aching too much
Seed sowing to do - rocket and lettuce so I can do that. It won't involve any heavy lifting!
Don't look at my PMs very often either BL so it's a bit hit and miss with me anyway
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I have not posted for a while and thought that I would let you know that I am alive.
Doctors do not make very good patients, and I have had a falling out with mine, which has left me a bit frustrated and miserable.
I shall probably not be posting for a short while, but I wanted to say that I find this thread to be very therapeutic. The day to day goings on of my friends on here are very soothing.
Stay well, enjoy your gardens, food wine and anything else you fancy, and I shall see you all soon.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Hi Pdoc - you can pop in whenever you like - you don't have to post if you don't feel like it - hope things get back on an even keel soon and that you're enjoying your garden. ((hugs))
Well, I just checked a rose for aphids and there, on one bush were three pairs of copulating Harlequin ladybirds - working on the theory that if the English ones aren't around then the Harlequins will do, and that being bigger their larvae will eat more aphids, they're very welcome - an ice cold Campari & soda is being taken in celebration - cheers! B-)
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Weather's been pants KEF so I went to the nursery. A few small items found their way in -all totally vital of course
Some white stuff for one of the shady borders I was sorting yesterday -Thalictrum, Dicentra and a dwarf Aquilegia, and a small Hebe for the sunniest border/raised bed, to go in the front/middle where the strawberries are just now.
Forensic/foody Fairy has made some chocolatey fondanty thingies. I had to try a couple when I came home as I was wet, tired and cold....
There's a few left....

Morning (just)
The sun is trying to come out here
I'm feeling a need to get some more echinacea for the garden, so may well be shopping this afternoon while the footy is on

Lovely post, take care Pdoc. Come back when you are ready
Been schorchio today
Had to do my potting on under the brolly. Too hot in GH to put canes in toms & tie them up. Tomoz' job, early me thinks.
Lovely night for a BBQ ( sorry Fairy, hope you've had some better wethaer than forecast) however I'm out eating curry, a few Cobra will cool me off.
Have a good evening all, another shower due to wash suncream off.

Bags I get one Fairy
They look yummy. Enjoy new plants. You have a sunny border

It's a sunny border in theory....
I tested the ones without the biscuit casing. I knew they'd be completely different so it made sense.
