Have a lovely day, Dove. Within a few weeks you be wondering how you ever had time to work. I'm sure your work mates will miss you.
I wish I had a Hefty. I haven't seen a hedgehog for years. A lady I was talking to who was a voluteer for a hedgehog rescue group said that if there are badgers about there won't be any hedgehogs.
I learn more in the first hour or so in the day lying in bed with the computor than the rest of the day.
My young grandson who lives next door went out to feed his young hens a year ago. When he opened the door to the hutch he found most of the 15 hens dead or dying. When he ran to tell his parents they found a badger still inside the hutch. The floor of the hutch was removable for cleaning and the badger had pushed the floor up but couldn't get out again. It had gone through an electric fence as well.
Morning all, no frosr here, but a very grey drizzly dayCongratulations on your retirement Dove, hope you have a very nice last day, and not too many tears
Frying 5lbs of onions would have made me cry all by themselves!!
Pottie how very sad, your poor grandson.
Havent seen a hedgehog for alon time, perhaps we get badgers backing onto a field

Gosh I never thought that about badgers & hedgegogs! Not out of bed and already learning stuff. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Enjoy your last day Dove - celebrations start here

We escaped the frost - torrential rain instead. But time to get the last of my pots tucked up in the GH i think.
Cheers folks
heading for the shower - got to get the smell of fried onions out of my hair
