Damp and none too warm here. The Scottish weather - one lovely day then back to the usual. Not sure it'll be much above 12 here today Dove!  image

Just been out feeding the birds and taking a look at the border I got stuck into yesterday. All planting looking happy but may have to take a trip to the nursery just for one or two essential items of course...image

Chicky - my sister used to be physically sick on the day of exams - and we went to school on the bus ....imageimage Young Fairy had her last Higher yesterday so I think she was quite relieved. She's always very pessimistic anyway. It's a horrible time especially as, in your case, she feels she hasn't done well and it's normally a good subject.

Off for a look at what you've been up to - I was asleep at about half nine last night image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good morning Dove & Wintersong & all.

Lots going on for people today enjoy image

Hope chicklet feels happier after a nights sleep.

Outdoor dining is sounding a good plan, but not today a friend who moved away is back for an evening so a group of us are going out for an Indian meal.

We were woken at 2.10am by two lads who appeared to have sunstroke, as neither was steady on their legs  image one was leaning on the skip serenading the heavens and the other walking around on the road. I put all the upstairs lights on and it must have taken them 2 mins to notice. They then moved on but I could hear them for another 20 mins or so. image

I've changed my Edit settings back to Basic and the PM reply box has reappeared. It's just a bit annoying that we have to change it back again to post a pic or whatever, but on the grand scheme of things, it's not as annoying as slugs and greenfly image

Morning all. Fell asleep in front of GW last night. Think Monty's voice is soporific, and I wanted to see the bit about Sweet Peas.

The weather forecast for Southern England yesterday and today is warmer than Dordogne!

Must get a moving planting out new perennials and annuals in flower beds, before they get pot bound.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Just had a look at my PM page and it looks OK, not that I've tried using it. Afraid I don't use it very often. But I did see the message from BusyBee.

Hi Lizzie. Think everyone who posted on a certain thread got one.

Just finished walking around looking at the garden, now time to pop to shops and do some gardening before it gets too hot imageimage

    morning.

Poor little chicklet, hope she gets some rest today.

Remember it well kef - sunstroke at 2am, funny but we called it something else!

Fairy, this weather of yours? You sure you're only in Scotland? Sounds like 'opposite country' to me (did you remember playing opposites day, drove everyone mad!).

Son doing well in swimming lesson, teacher trying to get a disability gala going for Oct, looking promising for now but will be moving premises so lots of other stuff to deal with at the pool, including possible change of manager.

    Later peeps, enjoy gardens.
